We do like all the fancy staff around WooCommerce Admin and Blocks but there is a massive need of speed optimization in WooCommerce core.

We all know that WooCommerce cannot handle big e-commerce stores and busy websites due to the limitations and complexity of wp_postmeta queries. Since WC 3.6 it’s the second time an improvement is made on core regarding speed optimization.

I believe that custom tables concept should be implemented sooner as there is a greater need for e-commerce platforms that run fast even with heavy traffic due to the way people buy staff online due to COVID.
