WooCommerce 7.5.1 Fix Release

WooCommerce 7.5.1 is now available for download.

What’s new?

  • We’ve addressed an issue where during upgrade, dbDelta may have caused an unnecessary ALTER to be executed. #37277
  • We’ve fixed an issue with variable product quantity selectors. #36871
  • This release bumps the version of WooCommerce Blocks included in WooCommerce to 9.6.6. #37298
    • Version 9.6.6 of WooCommerce Blocks includes a fix to a 404 error that was introduced in WooCommerce 7.5.0. While the error didn’t break anything user-facing, it had the potential to cause 404 error logs to increase in size. #8445

You can download the latest release of WooCommerce here or visit Dashboard → Updates to update the plugin from your WordPress admin screen.

  1. This version broke our emails. More specific when a new order is created, the New Order email that is headed to our sales dept is soft-bounced because it contains too many special characters or letters with quotation marks on them as it is possible to be Greek characters (our website is Greek). I tried removing all Greek characters from the subject but it make any sense. Please note that emails sent to customers work.

    1. Hello Ilias,

We’re not aware of that issue or how it might be raised by this very focused fix release. Would you mind opening an issue over in the WooCommerce Core repository so we can try to reproduce it?

Please use the Bug Report template here.

      Thank you!

  2. Hello some we got some errors with 7.5.1,

first problem is “out of memory”

and second 7.5.1 doesnt add order notes automatically.

We turn back to the 7.5.0 and there is no problem, now.

With this latest update, I can no longer log into my WordPress without deactivating WooCommerce. I’m running on 6.2 and it looks like that may be the cause, but I’m not sure – any support you can provide would be a huge help/appreciated. Thanks!

FYI – The site listed is just being built so the product pages aren’t visible, plus it’s not really a front-end thing anyway. Thanks!
