Howdy folks, we kicked-off our Code Freeze on Wednesday, Sept 18, 2024 ahead of the release of WooCommerce 9.4. As we begin the testing phase, and get the release ready for Beta, we wanted to share some spoilers and document any updates to the expected release timeline.

WooCommerce 9.3.1 has been released
We’re adding a PR (#51312) that disables the remote error logging feature that was originally planned to be introduced in WooCommerce 9.3.

What’s in this release
We originally planned to include a new opt-in feature called remote error logging in WooCommerce 9.3. This feature was designed to allow stores to share error logs with our team. However, after WooCommerce 9.3 was released to WordPress.org but before it became the stable version, we identified an issue with this feature. Specifically, it could obscure details about fatal errors, making it more challenging for store owners to debug problems.
To address this, we are releasing WooCommerce 9.3.1, which disables the remote error logging feature. We recommend using WooCommerce 9.3.1 over WooCommerce 9.3 to ensure the best experience.

WooCommerce 9.2.3 has been released
We are releasing a PR (#50892), which fixes missing translations in the Cart and Checkout block

What’s in this release
As part of the 9.2 release, we included a commit which significantly reduced the bundle size of the Cart and Checkout blocks by moving large parts of the code to a shared file.

What’s in this release
Two changes in WooCommerce 9.2 and 9.2.1 caused unexpected behavior with the WooCommerce iOS app and third-party plugins. This release reverts those changes.

WooCommerce 9.2.1 has been released

What’s in this release
As part of the 9.2 release, we detected an increased number of errors when running final tests on the release on August 20th, 2024. We identified that this was due to issues created by a specific commit, meant to improve the code quality of the platform.
This release reverts that specific commit. We will follow up with a revised commit which tackles the same improvements at a later date.
