The Store Editing team is the group that powers Site (Store) Editing efforts to bring a more modern editing experience to our merchants on WooCommerce.
So what are “Snaps”?
Snaps are light-weight, regular updates that aim to share all of the work we’ve been doing on WooCommerce Blocks from behind the scenes.

Updates 📰
The Product Rating Block is now available! This block was built to be a replacement for the legacy Filter Products by Rating widget.

What We’re Working On 🚧
Here are some key projects we are currently focusing on:
Patterns will be the primary way merchants customize the look and feel of their stores and will also be what themes can use for setting up good default experiences. We will continue our work on surfacing important sets of patterns to merchants.
Product Query Block (#6793)
The Product Query Block is a larger project that includes Product Archive Type Blocks, Blockifying the Product Archive templates (as a separate but related focus — see below), and Filter Block Compatibility.
For this project, we have decided to diverge from the current experience of having multiple block variants of the Product Query, towards a more powerful and flexible merchandising block that will be able to display various product configurations.
While we’re continuing to work towards blockifying all the Product Templates, our current focus is to ship the blockified Product Archive templates. Some key objectives include allowing a greater level of customizability on archive pages for store owners and block theme authors, while providing a sensible fallback when there is no template provided by the theme or the user.
