WooCommerce 10.5 Release is Delayed

Hi, folks.

Initially scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026, we’ve are postponing the release of WooCommerce 10.5.

Reason for delay

In preliminary testing, we noted that a previously-announced deprecation might affect site stability depending on the software running and opted to avoid code removal for the time being.

What happens next?

We will check back in on February 4, 2026, 12pm UTC and let you know the status of the release. As always, we’ll keep you informed of any developments through this blog.

Thank you

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to launch the WooCommerce 10.5 release.

  2. Yes, thanks. I upgraded to 10.5 and it completely broke my shop page.

Hi Rob — sorry to hear that. Could you share more details about what’s happening on your shop page? Knowing your theme and any customizations would help us point you in the right direction. In the meantime, I’d recommend opening a support ticket at woocommerce.com/support so the team can dig into your specific setup.

  3. You should have delayed it longer. Updating overrides my styles, changing the buy button to the WooCommerce default purple and completely disables it so nobody can make a purchase.

Hi Jason — sorry you’re running into that. The button styling and functionality issues you’re describing sound like they could be related to the deprecation we flagged in the post. Could you open a support ticket at woocommerce.com/support with details about your theme and any customizations? That’ll help the team investigate and get you sorted. If this turns out to be a broader issue, we want to know about it.
