WooCommerce 9.1.2 has been released
This release includes a fix for a separator issue in the flat rate shipping inputs.
In 9.0.1 we detected an issue with input calculations in flat rate shipping being affected by what separator characters were being used. While a fix was applied in 9.0.2, this fix was not carried over to the 9.1.0 or 9.1.1 releases.

We received reports about an issue in WooCommerce 9.0 with flat rate shipping separators. This update reverts the change that caused this issue.

Hey folks, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, we kicked-off our Code Freeze ahead of the release of WooCommerce 9.1. As we begin the testing phase, and get the release ready for RC, we wanted to share some spoilers and document any updates to the expected release timeline.
UPDATE: We are currently finishing our pre-release testing and the final release is now, scheduled for Thursday, July 11, 2024.

WooCommerce 9.0.1 has been released
In WooCommerce 9.0 we received reports of an issue that appears to be the result between code associated to the recent deprecation of the Legacy REST API, server configurations, and caching mechanisms.
This release mitigates the impact of that issue.

WooCommerce 8.8 and 8.9 have received important fixes.
The issue is present on pages that contain the Classic Checkout and allows for the injection of HTML and JavaScript into the page. See our developer advisory for more information.
These releases fix said issues.
What’s in this release
We’re releasing patches for 8.8 and 8.9 to address an XSS vulnerability found in these versions, which affects pages with the Classic Checkout. This vulnerability allows for the injection of HTML and JavaScript, posing a security risk. To mitigate this, patches have been included in WooCommerce 9.0 and backported to versions 8.8 and 8.9. Users running these versions are advised to update urgently to protect against potential attacks.

๐ The new stable tag is now 8.9.3, and with it includes all the updates from the 8.9 release.

What’s in this release
This release includes fixes to remove a request which stores some basic request data (including IP address of the site visitor) in our server request logs hosted on Automattic (Wooโs parent company) infrastructure for a maximum of 14 days in WooCommerce versions 7.8.0 through 8.9.1.
Starting with WooCommerce 7.8.0 and continuing through the most recent release, 8.9.1, the

file is loaded on every frontend page. Loading this file was introduced as part of a feature to register server-side tracking during REST requests, as documented in Issue #37796.See our developer advisory for more detailed information.
