The WooCommerce 10.8 release has been pushed back by one week.
Hi, folks! We appreciate your patience and support as we work to bring you the best possible updates to WooCommerce.
Initially scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026, we’ve decided to postpone the WooCommerce 10.8 release to Tuesday, May 26, 2026, with RC1 now landing on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Reason for delay
WordPress 7.0 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, May 20, and we want to minimize overlap with WooCommerce 10.8.
We also identified a late-landing change in 10.8 that we want to give extra validation time before it goes out.
The 10.9 release schedule remains unchanged: feature freeze is still June 1, 2026 and beta 1 is still June 8, 2026.
What happens next?
- Monday, May 25, 2026: WooCommerce 10.8 RC1
- Tuesday, May 26, 2026: WooCommerce 10.8 final release
We’ve updated the release calendar to reflect the new dates. As always, we’ll keep you informed of any further developments through this blog.
Thank you
