  • Postcode validation on the checkout block fixed for Argentina and a few other countries.
  • Released: October 9, 2026
  • Security update: No
  • Database update: No

What’s in this release

Classic checkout with removed address fields (woocommerce/woocommerce#69644): restores the 11.1 behavior for how the classic checkout sends address data when the order summary refreshes. On 11.2.0, stores that remove address fields with the woocommerce_billing_fields or woocommerce_default_address_fields filters could see checkout blocked with “Please enter an address to continue.”, tax not charged, or shipping options disappear.

Postcode validation on the checkout block (woocommerce/woocommerce#69658): accepts Argentine postcodes without the province letter (for example 1213) again, along with the formats for El Salvador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the British Virgin Islands that 11.2.0 rejected.

    Hello!
I am currently testing the WooCommerce Back In Stock Notifications feature, and I think it is excellently done.
I have a feature request: could you add a statistics or analytics view for this feature? Specifically, it would be incredibly helpful to see a ranking of which out-of-stock products have the highest number of customer waitlist sign-ups.
This would allow store owners to prioritize restocking based on actual, proven customer demand.
I hope this makes sense. Thank you for your great work!

I have a suggestion regarding the Back In Stock Notifications feature.
Currently, in the Stock Notifications table, if a customer cancels or unsubscribes, their record remains in the database. Over time, this will quickly bloat the table with useless data, as a canceled subscription holds no actionable value for the store owner.
Could you please make it so that canceled records are automatically deleted? Alternatively, adding a simple toggle in the WooCommerce settings (e.g., “Automatically delete canceled stock notifications”) would be a perfect solution to keep the database clean and optimized.
Thank you for considering this improvement!
